Wauwatosa school social worker ‘helped me AND the bully’

It’s Bully Prevention Month, and in the video below from Save Our Schools Wauwatosa, 5th grade student Liberty talks about being bullied and how the school’s social worker helped both Liberty and bully get back on track:

“I work with a social worker because I used to be bulled a lot, but the social worker helped me AND the bully. I talked with her about what was happening with me and this kid who was being very inappropriate. And she wound up helping me and the kid get better, and I think that was really great. I stopped being bullied, and I was playing violin and I was in chorus and it was fun just being able to be my best me.”
