Milwaukee teacher Elizabeth Davis, a teacher at Garland Elementary School and a member of the Milwaukee Teachers’ Education Association, has been named the Top Teacher for November by WISN-TV.
“We are a multicultural school, and I’m constantly learning new things from the children,” says Davis, whose students come from several countries. Her best part of the day, she said, is “the hugs.”
“What other job gives you so many hugs every single day before you go home. It’s wonderful.”
