Oconto Falls High School Principal Bruce Russell (left) and Edward Johnson of Clintonville, a member of the WEAC Scholarship Committee, congratulate student Ben Nielsen, who is this year's winner of WEAC's Kathy Mann Scholarship. Nielsen was among those recognized at the Oconto Falls Scholarship Dinner May 14. Ben is the son of Carla Nielsen, an education support professional at Washington Middle School in Oconto Falls, working with autistic children. His father, Dave Nielsen, is a civil engineer for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in Green Bay.
