We are excited to review all proposals for this June’s 2026 Wisconsin Coalition for Community Schools Conference being held in Madison. Each breakout session is 60 minutes. We encourage presentations that are active, engaging, and incorporate core elements of adult learning theory. Proposals are due by Friday, April 10th.
We are especially eager to see proposals about the following topics:
- How to finance community schools or make them sustainable in Wisconsin.
- Teacher perspectives & participation in community schools.
- Collaborative presentations from Schools and Community Partner Organizations.
- Data Collection: How do you tell the story of your Community School through data?
- Collaborative Leadership: how does your Community School ensure this key practice?
- Integrated Systems of Support: School-based Mental Health and other medical programs offered at Community Schools in Wisconsin.
- Expanded and Enriched Learning: Connecting afterschool time to support academic outcomes.
- Authentic Family Engagement: What ways have you seen success in engaging families in school?
- Systems that Support: What systems does your school or coordinator have in place that help you achieve success?
