Unity Teacher is WEAC’s 2024 Excellence In Education Award Recipient

Brian Collins is the recipient of the Wisconsin Edcuation Association Council’s 2024 Excellence in Education Award.

Collins is a biology teacher at Unity High School in Balsam Lake and a member of the Unity Education Association. Collins is also a 2024 Wisconsin Teacher of the Year and Wisconsin’s National Teacher of the Year.

“Every day, Brian brings passion for his profession and his community to his classroom and his students,” WEAC President Peggy Wirtz-Olsen said.

Collins was presented the award at WEAC’s 2024 Representative Assembly in La Crosse.
