Aspiring Educators Social Justice Conference – Virtual

During the conference, Hagopian will discuss what it means to be a social justice-oriented educator. Wisconsin social justice leaders will also be on hand to explore and analyze racial injustices within the American education system. Aspiring Educators will learn how to incorporate social justice into all subject matters, not only social studies. The conference will also provide an opportunity for attendees to think critically about educational policies and the roles they might play in creating an equitable school system.
Students deserve educators who are willing to address their own biases to make a more equitable classroom and participants will leave this conference feeling inspired and curious, understanding the necessity of being social-justice-oriented and equitable educators.
