Geared for teachers and ESPs who work with students in early childhood through eighth grade, WEAC is partnering with Crayola Education to bring members a unique summer learning experience integrating art and literacy.

Educators will learn strategies to help students make their thinking visible, promote reflective thinking, and extract deeper meaning from children’s book illustrations as well as their own artwork. This workshop is designed with direct classroom application in mind. It includes project idea starters across the curriculum examining parallels between written, mathematical and visual literacy.

This is a fully hands-on workshop. Participants will receive over $50 in art supplies and lesson plans. Lunch is included. WEAC members only.
