This workshop is for elementary art and classroom teachers in virtual or hybrid contexts. We will review several picture books that tell stories of creativity and embrace diversity. For each book, we will extend into hands-on art activities using simple art supplies, recycled materials, and common kitchen materials.

Supplies to have on hand:  Paper, tools to draw and color, scissors, glue, cardboard (corrugated and/or thinner like cereal boxes), cardboard rolls, newspaper, magazines, aluminum foil, flour, and salt.
