National Board Support Sessions

National Board certification is the highest level of certification a teacher can attain. This rigorous process has personal, professional, and monetary rewards. This cohort will meet once per month to explore various components of the certification process and provide support for MTEA members attempting to earn this prestigious honor. Each session will begin with a presentation sharing tips and strategies for tackling the required components for certification followed by opportunities to work with trained mentors. Registration is required, please register below for any or all sessions you would like to attend. All sessions are held virtually and the meeting link will be sent by the day of the session.

Writing for National Boards
Descriptive, analytical, and reflective writing. Strategies for making sure you are addressing the prompts that are asked.

One-on-one mentor time
Candidates will have time to meet with a trained mentor to get feedback on their written components, video, forms, and other materials.
