Designed for new and experienced National Board mentors, also known as professional learning facilitators, this session is a collection of strategies, resources, guided learning activities, and an ethics review for those who support educators pursuing Board certification.

Participants will gain the practical knowledge, skills, and tools needed to successfully support candidates during their National Board Certification process. We will explore methods of helping candidates elevate how they think about their teaching practice and communicate their effective practice with evidence of the standards of accomplished teaching. We will examine important aspects of professional learning, ethical coaching, and candidate feedback.
