Mahir Manna and Taylor Baehman Receive WEAC Rising Star Awards

Mahir Manna from Aspiring Educators-Madison and Taylor Baehman from Aspiring Educators-Stevens Point are the recipients of WEAC Rising Star Awards.

Rising Star Awards are for Aspiring Educators or Early Career Educators who show particular promise as future leaders in their schools, communities and unions.

WEAC President Peggy Wirtz-Olsen said, “We are all looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Mahir and Taylor.”

Manna and Baehman received the awards at the 2025 WEAC Representative Assembly in Wisconsin Dells.
