Ben Wikler Named 2021 WEAC Friend of Education

The Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) has named Ben Wikler as the 2021 Friend of Education Recipient.

Wikler, Chairman of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, was selected for the honor by Wisconsin Public School educators who noted his longtime advocacy for economic, social and racial justice.

“Ben Wikler has demonstrated a consistent commitment to advancing policy that provides opportunity for all students,” said WEAC President Ron Martin. “His progressive roots go deep, and he has emerged as a leader in building Wisconsin’s future for children and families.”
