The Organizing for Bargaining Power training will prepare your local for success at the bargaining table. The Ed Summer Training is designed for Member Organizers participating in WEAC’s Ed Summer Program.

There are two tracks for this Conference

Who should attend BARGAINING FOR POWER?  

We invite locals to send teams of 3-5 bargaining team members (can include the local president even if not on the bargaining team). Both experienced and beginner bargaining team members are encouraged to attend. 

Who should attend the ED SUMMER TRAINING?

Anyone hired by WEAC as a Member Organizer for Ed Summer should attend this training. Local Presidents, Urban Staff, Membership Chairs and other affiliated individuals involved in supporting their Local Ed Summer Team are encouraged to attend. If you are a Local leader interested in gaining membership recruitment skills to grow your Local, this training may also be for you.
