POSITION DESCRIPTION: The MTEA is seeking an internal organizer/representative to support its members in the fight for economic and social justice. The Assistant Executive Director is a full-time position that requires the ability to manage multiple organizing and representational objectives, both short and long term. MTEA represents more than 5,800 public education workers in the Milwaukee Public Schools and is the largest education local in the state of Wisconsin. MTEA leads the fight to oppose privatization and to build the schools and communities our children deserve.

POSITION TITLE: Kenosha Education Association Labor Organizing Director
JOB DESCRIPTION: The KEA Labor Organizing Director will work with elected KEA leadership and members of our union at each school and building site. The job requires the ability to collaborate efforts with elected leaders in internal organizational efforts, electoral activities, handbook administration, and grievance management, as well as day-to-day office operations. Member recruitment and building an effective organizational structure for the union at every school are the main focuses of the position.
