Thank you for your service as an educator and membership in the union. We have advocated for you as an active member and for your interests when you retire. Your WRS pension is one of only 8 states (https://equable.org/pension-plan-funded-ratio-rankings-2024/) that is fully funded and protected because of WEAC's advocacy and work on your behalf.

As we continue to advocate for children and educators, we invite you to continue your membership with WEAC as a retired member. Not only does your advocacy as an educator enrich our union, you are able to continue to utilize the member benefits afforded to you as an active member.
