Union Representation

When you belong to the union, you have a right to representation in any meeting with a supervisor that could result in disciplinary action. WEAC has resources to help members and their representatives through these situations.

As a member, you have Weingarten Rights. If you find yourself in a situation where a meeting with a supervisor could lead to disciplinary action, you have a right to union representation and the right to say the following: "If this discussion could in any way lead to my being disciplined or terminated, I respectfully request that my union representative or steward be present at the meeting. Without representation, I choose not to answer any questions."
