WEAC-Retired members Bonnie Augusta and Pat Schmidt are the recipients of the WEAC 2026 Tenia Jenkins Activist Award.

“Bonnie and Pat have worked together to make WEAC Lobby Days at the Capitol very successful,” said WEAC President Peggy Wirtz-Olsen. “They passionately fight for members’ rights, social justice and students.”

Augusta and Schmidt were presented the award at the 2026 WEAC Representative Assembly in Oshkosh.
