Hmong Education Project Receives 2026 Lewandowski Award for Humanitarian Activities

Wendy Mattison and Tony Yang of the Hmong Education Project in La Crosse are the recipients of the WEAC 2026 Lewandowski Award for Humanitarian Activities.

“Wendy, Tony and the Hmong Education Project tirelessly advocate for their community,” said WEAC President Peggy Wirtz-Olsen. 

Mattison accepted the award at the 2026 WEAC Representative Assembly in Oshkosh.
