Bob Baxter is WEAC Executive Director. He has previously served as WEAC Director of Organizing, Interim Executive Director for the Milwaukee Teachers’ Education Association, and WEAC Interim Executive Director.
With his deep knowledge of WEAC operations, priorities and labor issues, he has led the union in the direction set by members, with a renewed focus on grassroots organizing in local communities.
Baxter previously was Executive Director for the Kenosha Education Association and has work experience with AFSCME, the Teamsters and Service Employees International Union. His experiences outside of the labor field include service in the U.S. Navy.
In his role as Executive Director, Baxter oversees the four departments of the state-level union.
